Registration Fees

What are the registration fees for Freedom Christian Academy and how do we pay them? |

Each academic year there will be a one- time enrollment fee for the academy itself, per family. Enrollment Fees: $150.00 Background Check: $35.00 Classroom Supply Fee: Varies At the beginning of the year there may be a one-time supply fee for each course per student. This fee will vary depending on what each instructor requires for their course. Also, a one time fee for a background check will be obtained for volunteer hours. That fee is only collected once when your first enroll and not again until the background check expires. Upon registration, payment for registration fees, background check, and classroom supply fees are due immediately. Our method for paying fees and tuition is to do so online through our online payment system. Cash and checks will not be accepted. *These fees are non-refundable. |

When do we pay tuition? |

Tuition is due when you register and then on the first Friday of each month, thereafter. For your convenience you can choose between two payment options: 1. You can pay the full semester's tuition all at once at the beginning of the semester. 2. You can pay your semester's tuition monthly over the following invoices.

How do we pay tuition? |

Once you have decided whether you will be invoiced monthly or pay the full year's tuition, all fees and tuition should be paid online via our payment system. Checks will not be accepted. *After the semester withdrawal date has passed, each family will be held financially responsible for the whole semester as tuition is nonrefundable. Additionally, you will be held financially responsible for any courses that you attended prior to withdrawal. |

How much is tuition? |

Tuition is set uniquely for each course depending on a number of variables including but not limited to the curriculum, subject area, grade band, and instructor . Each instructor has decided upon a class fee for each student enrolled in their course. Keep in mind, when you register for your courses on the online portal, the class fee reflected is for the whole semester. Our basic tuition fee schedule is as follows for the Fall & Spring: •PRE-K & ELEMENTARY COURSES: $20.00 per course per month per student (average of $5.00 per week) •MIDDLE SCHOOL COURSES: $20.00 per course per month per student (average of $5.00 per week) •HIGH SCHOOL COURSES: $25.00 per course per month per student (average of $6.25 per week) •Course supply fees are separate and vary depending on what is required within the course. They are only collected at the beginning of the year. •A course is scheduled from 55 minutes to an hour of time. For two-hour or multi-day courses, tuition increases with the time spent in the classroom. • There is a $2.50 administrative fee per month that is added to each course for the whole year.

What is the tuition for PreKindergarten? |

Our program is now open for enrollment, covering multiple days of core instruction in our PreK grade band and is subject to normal tuition rates. See the course offerings for more information. |
Semester Information

How long is an academic year? |

As of right now, Fall and Spring semesters are consecutive weeks between August and May based on a 10 month calendar, including but not limited to instructional days, field trips, open house, registration day, Parent/Teacher Conferences, special events, formals, Honors Convocation/Awards Ceremony, Graduation, and more! There areweeks allotted for Fall break in the Fall Semester and Spring Break in the Spring Semester. We also observe breaks over Thanksgiving and Holy Week. Is whole day registration required? |
A: |
No. You do not have to register for a full day of courses for K-12th Grade. You can enter into a partial enrollment where you only register for the courses of your choice. However, PreK is currently only offering full-time enrollment. All disclosures, the parent contract, and volunteer hours are the same whether you register for a full or partial day for your family. |

How often will the academy be held? |

Our academy has hybrid options up to 3 days a week! There will also be additional workshops, social gatherings, field trips,etc... throughout the year as well that will take place on additional days. |
