Apparel Design

East Tennessee State University Alumni

Heather Moore, a native of Greene County, has always had a deep connection to her roots and the community she calls home. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design from East Tennessee State University (ETSU), which laid the foundation for her early career in the fashion industry. Before transitioning into full-time motherhood, Heather worked for a prominent retailer in Product Development, where she designed women’s clothing. However, after becoming a mother, she made the decision to step away from the fast-paced fashion world to focus on her family.

Heather and her husband, Chris, are proud parents of twins—Abi Kate and Hudson—who are now both students at ETSU. Together, they live on a beautiful farm where they raise cattle, alpacas, miniature donkeys, and maintain their own thriving beehives. This peaceful farm life is a perfect reflection of Heather's love for nature and the simple joys of life.

The Moore family has been an active part of Freedom Fellowship of Greeneville since 2015, where they’ve become deeply involved in the church community. Heather has a heart for service, particularly when it comes to working with children. Over the years, she has poured her energy into the church’s children’s ministry, helping young minds grow in faith and knowledge. Through her experiences in both her professional life and church, Heather has always sought to blend her creativity, love for teaching, and devotion to family into all aspects of her life.

Heather is honored to serve as Bookkeeper, Electives Department Head and Cross-Displinary Instructor at Freedom Christian Academy.
