Mrs. Nicole Smyk is passionate about reading education and spiritual growth. With over 10 years of teaching experience, she brings creativity, structure, and a Christ-centered approach to her classroom. She holds a Master’s certificate in Academic Language Therapy and is a certified Dyslexia Therapist. She is also a board member of a regional branch of the International Dyslexia Association.

At Freedom Christian Academy, Mrs. Smyk integrates biblical truth into every class, helping students not only grow academically but also deepen their relationship with Christ. She believes every child is uniquely created by God and strives to nurture their God-given potential through individualized support and encouragement.

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Smyk enjoys volunteering at her local church and in her community, hiking and reading with her husband, and spending time with her family. Her favorite verse is Isaiah 43:1: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”

Nicole is honored to serve as our Reading Interventionist and Literacy Instructor at Freedom Christian Academy.
